Epsilon Pay: the new integrated collections service by National Bank of Greece and EPSILON NET Group

National Bank of Greece (NBG) and EPSILON NET Group (EPSILON NET) announce the completion of the development of the Epsilon Pay service. The new digital service aims to provide an integrated solution regarding automation of invoices collection, issued by Greek businesses and the direct match, confirmation and accounting recognition of the relevant transactions.

The service will be available from the sales network of the Group’s companies. After the initial activation, it will be provided automatically through all EPSILON NET ERPs and billing systems. In the initial phase, it will be activated in the upgraded versions of PYLON, GALAXY & EPSILON SMART products, while gradually it will be integrated into all EPSILON NET Group products.

Epsilon Pay service (as well as the accompanying services that will be presented in parallel – Banking Aggregator & Epsilon Pay BI) is the first part of services developed under NBG’s Strategic Cooperation Agreement with EPSILON NET. This cooperation points out the joint design, development and distribution of products & services aimed at enhancing and supporting entrepreneurship in Greece.

Based on the strategic agreement, the gradual development of integrated services/products and the direct interconnection of EPSILON NET’s information systems (ERP, Commercial Accounting Applications) with NBG’s systems will be implemented, utilizing NBG’s advanced Open Banking platform in the area of Embedded Banking.

The banking services and products will be available, both to businesses that currently use EPSILON NET systems and to all SMEs – NBG customers. They aim to meet the modern digital needs of Greek businesses by offering a high level of user experience to end customers.
